KINGPIN Outback Tourer Suspension Kit

A matched suspension and steering package for a dedicated touring Land Rover, with custom-tuned remote reservoir shocks, heavy-duty steering rods and cranked rear trailing arms. Designed for standard height through to 2-inch lift, with shock-mount heights matched to the shocks supplied.

What is included?

• Four Superior Engineering 2.0 remote reservoir shocks — front and rear, with 8.5-inch stroke and KINGPIN custom valving to suit your vehicle, load and use.
• KINGPIN front shock turrets — without dislocation cones, height matched to the shocks.
• KINGPIN rear pin-to-pin conversion shock mounts. This configuration also allows a compatible 80/100 Series LandCruiser front shock to be sourced as an emergency replacement when remote touring.
• KINGPIN front reservoir mounting brackets — mounts the reservoirs to the front face of our turrets; two small mounting holes require drilling.
• KINGPIN rear reservoir mounting plates for Defender/Perentie. Puma uses the existing threaded bosses; pre-Puma/Perentie fitment requires M10 rivnuts/nutserts. These plates are excluded from D1 kits. RRC reservoir mounting requires confirmation.
• Gwyn Lewis heavy-duty cranked rear trailing arms — pair, powder coated black, with axle-end bushes and new chassis-end nuts. Offset axle-end construction provides clearance at suspension dropout. Older RRC vehicles may require compatible chassis bushes.
• KINGPIN solid chromoly track rod and drag link, matched to the vehicle.
• LEMFÖRDER tie-rod ends — three for the standard Defender setup, four for D1.
• HEL Performance custom braided steel brake-line kit — choose the vehicle-appropriate kit in the selector.
• Tough Dog adjustable steering damper. Contact us if you wish to arrange a kit without this component.
• KINGPIN fuel filter relocation bracket and fitting kit included only for Td5 and Puma/TDCi Defenders. Not required for D1, RRC, Perentie or pre-Td5 Defenders, including 300Tdi.

Choose your setup

Select your vehicle, retain your existing suitable coils or add front and rear coils, then choose your front accessories, usual rear load, front shaft and brake-line kit. The displayed price updates with your selections.

Front accessory choices are no bar or winch, bull bar only, or bull bar and winch. Rear coil choices are specific to the vehicle. D110/D130 and suitable Perentie applications include custom 290lb no-load coils and the 250kg, 350kg and 500kg load options. D90 and D1 use their own coil sizes and load ratings. We confirm final spring specification and tuning before supply. RRC coils and shaft fitment require confirmation.

The selector shows the relevant kits for the selected vehicle. The Defender 4-piece kit suits the ABS applications requiring four lines; select the kit that matches your vehicle's brake-line arrangement. RRC brake-line fitment must be confirmed with KINGPIN.

HEL lines can be supplied from standard length through to extended lengths and in a choice of colours. Stocked colours are carbon or black. We confirm the appropriate length and colour with you before supply.

Important: Puma with 2-inch coils

Puma Defenders fitted with 2-inch coils require a front double cardan wide-angle shaft and KINGPIN front multi-position bumpstop spacers. This applies to existing 2-inch coils as well as new coils selected with the kit. Select a MEGA front shaft if required; bumpstop spacers are arranged separately.

Please provide the model, year, engine, current ride height, front accessories and usual rear load. We confirm vehicle details, component fitment and shock tuning before supply. Perentie 4x4 brake lines: The Defender 3-piece HEL brake-line kit is supplied for Perentie. The Defender 4-piece ABS kit does not apply to Perentie.

Perentie front driveshaft option: Selecting a front shaft for Perentie supplies our dedicated Perentie MEGA HD wide-angle double cardan front shaft, made to the correct Perentie length.
