Not sure which suspension setup is right for your Defender, Discovery or Range Rover?

Every vehicle is different. Accessories, permanent weight, towing requirements, intended use, long travel setups, sway bars and existing suspension components all affect which springs, shocks and supporting components will work properly, and which parts need addressing from serious remote or technical offroad use

KINGPIN HD Rear Coil Retainer System

Heavy-duty top-and-bottom rear coil retention for Land Rover suspension builds.

This system retains the rear spring at both ends rather than allowing it to dislocate during articulation. On front-radius-arm Land Rovers, rear spring retention can be used as part of a balanced suspension setup to improve rear roll stiffness and vehicle stability while still allowing useful articulation.

Why retain the rear coils?

• Helps keep the rear spring controlled through articulation
• Supports a more predictable rear suspension response
• Can encourage the front suspension to contribute more effectively to articulation
• Avoids loose or displaced rear coils at full droop

Kit includes

• Upper rear coil retainers
• Lower rear coil retainers
• High-tensile fitting hardware

Select the correct vehicle and configuration from the options above. Contact us if you need a mixed or partial kit that is not listed.

KINGPIN Rear Pin-Conversion Shock Mounts

Convert the rear of your Land Rover to a pin-to-pin shock arrangement and open up better long-travel shock options.

Applications

• Defender 90 / 110 / 130
• Discovery 1
• Range Rover Classic

Why use a pin-conversion mount?

• Allows use of pin-to-pin rear shocks
• Designed around lifted and long-travel Land Rover suspension setups
• Improves shock-bush alignment at common lifted ride heights
• Suitable for selected long-stroke remote-reservoir shock combinations
• Manufactured in-house from Australian materials

On the matched Defender setups we commonly build, these mounts can accommodate long-stroke rear shocks without automatically requiring extended rear bumpstops. Final shock length, spring height, bumpstop clearance and tyre clearance must still be checked on the actual vehicle.

OVER 32 CONFIGURATIONS AVAILABLE!

***We will contact you withing 24hrs of your order to advise the correct height turret we will supply***

Also can supply with or without an inbuilt dislocation cone.

GWYN LEWIS +25mm BUMPS!

Bump stops do not restrict articulation as many think, as the axle articulates and the angle increases....the coil spring and the bump stop comes away from the axle, you would have to have very long bump stops to restrict articulation.

These Bump Stops are universal fitment, the mounting plate is a heavy duty 5mm plate with 6 mounting holes so you can fit to Front or Rear.

Again we have gone above and beyond with our HD Turret Retainer Rings

We have had countless requests for these as the std factory ones often break studs as they age, and even more so with quality shocks with firmer tunes than the factory items.

The usual offerings use a 4mm laser cut plate - we use 6mm, just to give that little bit more

Our studs are threaded into the flange ring itself, and then plug-welded from behind

***THESE ARE NOW COATED IN GOLD ZINC - NOT POWDERCOATED***

Transplanting some Patrol Diffs under your Land Rover?

Rears are made from 4mm laser cut steel plate,

Fronts are made from 5mm laser cut steel plate

Fits:- All Defender 90, 110, 130 FRONT Anti Roll Bar 2 Bolt Fixing, also Discovery 1, RRC.

Kit Includes:
2 x 37mm spacers
1 x Complete Bolt Kit

1. The main reason for an anti roll bar spacer to be fitted is to lower the anti roll bar, this spacer will lower the front anti roll bar by 37mm. If +2inch shock absorbers or long travel shock absorbers are fitted to the vehicle and you would like to fit a front anti roll bar for more stability then these spacers will be needed to lower the anti roll bar to prevent the propshaft from touching the anti roll bar on axle drop.
2. This anti roll bar spacer is two-positioned, the reason for this design is that anti roll bars are of different lengths, some have been made longer along with front castor correction suspension arms. Because of the different length bars, it causes the anti roll bar drop links to hit the axle, however by fitting our anti roll bar spacers, you can move the rear bush mounting point back by either 15mm or 30mm. This then allows more room for the anti roll bar drop links to move and flex.
