Improved Racing - Compact High-Flow Transmission & Engine Oil Cooler Thermostat

  • SUIT ZF6HP & ZF8HP GEARBOXES

Performs the critical function of allowing the trans oil reaching its minimum operating temperature as quickly as possible, prolonging the life of you transmission.

This is the very unit we use for ALL of our ZF auto converted M57 swaps in-house

  • Unique, patented internal design ensures the lowest pressure drop in the industry.
  • Standard female -6AN O-ring boss threads.
  • Opens at 165F / 74C
  • Fully open at 181F / 83C
  • 1/2" BARB Fitting options will suit AN8 hose (400 or 500seies recommended)
  • AN8 MALE Fitting options will suit AN8 female fittings 

Suit fluid cooling systems flowing up to a maximum of 5 GPM (18.93 LPM).

INCLUDES:

  • 1x Compact remote thermostat block
  • 2x Zinc-plated steel mounting brackets and screws

WE HAVE COLLABORATED WITH PWR AUSTRALIA AND NOW OFFER THESE M57 SPECIFIC COOLING PACKS FOR LAND ROVER DEFENDER M57 CONVERSIONS! 100% AUSSIE MADE! 

We have made a number of changes to better suit conversion over using a regular uprated TDCI/Td5 radiator and intercooler. These include:

✅Much more efficient Elite Series Radiator core than the normal PWR Defender rad cores which in themselves are +30% efficiency over std! Our M57 variant is better again!

✅55mm thick, to allow for use of BMW Viscous with most of the popular conversion adapters that keep/place the transfer case in the TDCI/Puma position
✅Much more efficient Elite Series Radiator core than the normal PWR Defender rad cores
✅Outlets better sized to suit M57 Engine for both radiator & Intercooler
✅Redundant outlets deleted for cleaner and simpler plumbing
✅Completely re-shaped radiator and intercooler end tanks for much more efficient flow
