BMW M57 DDE5 / DDE6 ECU Unlock & Tune Service

Bench ECU service for BMW M57N and M57N2 DDE5 / DDE6 EDC16 ECUs used in conversion and standalone applications.

Available to customers in Australia only.

For compatible BMW M57N and M57N2 engines used in Land Rover Defender, Nissan Patrol, Toyota LandCruiser and other M57 swaps. Configuration depends on your ECU, engine and gearbox setup.

How the service works

This service is performed on your ECU. Exchange units are not normally available.

1. Place the order online.
2. We will contact you with a requirements form.
3. Complete the form and send it with your ECU, or email us your requested configuration if you cannot print it.
4. We bench-program the ECU and return it to you.

Lead time

Allow up to three weeks from the date we receive your ECU unless advised otherwise.

If you are unsure whether your ECU is DDE5 or DDE6, contact us with the ECU part number before sending it.

ZF6HP28X (TYPICALLY FOUND IN X5 E70) requires an immobiliser delete to operate after being removed from the factory BMW. 

A tune is also also desirable as more often than not the conversion receiving vehicle is a 4x4 and the M57 being also tuned

SERVICE INCLUDES:

• Immobiliser delete 
• Gearbox tune (better shift points, and full manual mode)

This service is required for anyone using the ZF6HP28X electric gearbox in their conversion.
