Developed around the Defender Puma TDCi installation, the display itself is suitable for a wide range of BMW M57 conversion applications, including Defender, Nissan Patrol, Toyota LandCruiser and other custom swaps, provided your engine, ECU, gearbox and transmission-controller combination matches the compatibility details below and you can securely mount the display and surround in the vehicle.

Supports BMW M57 conversions, E70 N57 + 8HP, E90 N47 with DDE7 and the M47 applications detailed below. Gauge configuration must match your donor electronics.
Additional BMW donor compatibility
- E70 N57 + 8HP: compatibility confirmed by the display developer.
- E90 N47 with DDE7: supported according to the display developer.
- M47 applications from E39, E46 and E53: supported according to the display developer; confirm your exact donor electronics with KINGPIN.
The developer also reports working display data in a friend's E60 converted from its original 6HP to an E70 8HP. This confirms that particular conversion, rather than every E60 or 8HP combination.
F15 N57 + 8HP compatibility has not been confirmed. E70 support must not be assumed to cover F15 donor electronics.

Fitment and installation
Puma TDCi installation requires removal, disassembly and modification of the TDCi instrument cluster. An instruction sheet is supplied to guide this process.
Planning a Toyota LandCruiser M57 conversion, Nissan Patrol M57 conversion or another custom BMW M57 swap? This display is not limited to Defender fitment. It can be used in a wide range of custom vehicle conversions provided the engine, ECU, transmission and transmission-controller combination matches the compatibility requirements above and the display can be mounted securely in the vehicle.
The supplied KINGPIN surround is designed around the Puma TDCi installation, but the display itself can also be adapted to other vehicles where you are able to fabricate or provide a suitable mounting location. LandCruiser, Patrol and other custom swap applications should be checked against the engine, ECU, gearbox and controller configuration shown in the Fitment & Compatibility box.
