KINGPIN SOLID 4140 CHROMOLY TRACK RODS!!

These SOLID Chromoly track rods are the strongest bars available worldwide for your Landy, and have the added benefit of having a incredibly high amount of 'spring' in them due to the material properties.  It is almost common knowledge Land Rover likely designed/specc'ed the factory Track Rod design 30mins before knock off on a Friday arvo! Yer - really not to sure what on earth they were thinking!

Almost all other HD steering rods on the market are HI-Tensile Steel at 350mPa tensile strength, We are not knocking these at all - they are great!, and we also sell these.

Our solid Chromoly bars are 32mm 4140 Chromoly rated at a whooping 980mPa tensile strength

Also included with every KINPIN FAB Chromoly rod is a pair of KINGPIN Fab Extra HD Stainless steel HD Jam nuts!

Chromoly, compared to regular hi-tensile steel is better suited to spring back to its original shape rather than bending and then not returning back to its original shape.

These spacers fit in between the axle and the spring seat at either the front OR rear of Any Defender, RRC, or D1.

The are 6mm each and can be stacked up to 2-3 high at the front OR up to 4-5 high in the rear.

Extra HD TOW/RECOVERY Points - MULTI FIT (Defender-Disco1-Disco2)

These Extra HD units are made with a whopping 16mm 350mPa grade CNC Plasma cut Aussie steel plate, that’s thicker than anything else on the market available for your Land Rover – Period!

We only recommend you install these items with NEW M12 - 12.9 Grade zinc plated bolts and nyloc nuts, AS WELL as installing the optional crush tubes into the upper chassis mount hole used by these brackets IF YOU PLAN ON DOING SNATCH RECOVERYS

If there is not a hole already and your bullbar does not also use this hole - you may not have a hole there at all! From the factory this upper hole was not present in Defenders.

We now offer custom made crush tubes than have been machined from 1” solid round steel to install into the upper bolt hole mount for those who plan to do snatch recoveries with these. We also recommend installing the 3^rd M12 bolt for good measure.

Installation of these optional crush tubs is fairly simple and only requires a 1” bi-metal hole saw, a welder, and a grinder.

ALWAYS use a bridle and BOTH mounts AND a rope dampener blanket when performing a recovery from the front end. Recovery’s can be fatal if not carried out correctly.

Please leave us a note at checkout if you have selected Powdercoated, with your colour choice. This will add up to approx 10-20 business days to your order to have them coated. Alternately we will send out BLACK powdercoated by default if you do not specify colour.

Bolt in replacement Front Panhard.

These Panhards include a Heim joint with Stainless Steel high misalignment spacers for bind free movement at the diff mount, and quality Superpro bushes at the chassis end, which due to its free floating crush tube, allows the whole system to virtually bind free. This prolongs the life of the bushings, as well as giving a more responsive and direct feel through the steering.

This kit includes:

• 1.5" solid 7075-T6 Panhard - ANODIZED BLACK
• 7/8" chromoly 3 PIECE Heim & SS spacers (3-piece are MUCH better than cheaper 2 piece heims)
• Machined bush housing
• Superpro bushing for the chassis end

IS YOUR FRONT PROPSHAFT HITTING YOUR SWAYBAR?

When fitting a Ultra HD front propshaft to any Defender/Disco1 you will find that you will have the shaft rub on the swaybar on droop within normal driving conditions.

Also when fitting any shock beyond factory length you will also find on axle droop, your front drive shaft will come in contact with the swaybar. 

Made from Aluminium - 25mm thick - these spacers are the solution!

Acid etched and chromate dipped before powdercoat for longevity - not like the powdercoated Terrafima gear out of the UK!
