Simplify your transmission swap with the HOUSE OR TORQUE purpose-built standalone wiring harness, designed to integrate BMW’s ZF 6-speed automatics (6HP26/28) into custom vehicle applications—from Land Rover Defenders to Transit vans and beyond.

Key Features & Compatibility

✅ Direct Connections For:

• ZF 6HP26/26X (E53 X5)
• ZF 6HP28/28X (E70 X5)
• Shifter, Engine ECU CANBus, and plug-in CANBus resistors

✅ Universal Design:

• Extra length for versatile fitment (Defenders, Transit vans, etc.)
• Includes +12V, ground, and ignition connections

This HOUSE OF TORQUE loom covers the wiring side only, the CANbus must still be connected to a compatible ECU or controller.

Technical Notes

• Skill Level: Requires basic automotive electrical knowledge for power/ground connections.
• Included: Harness, CANBus resistors, and downloadable fitting guide.
• Not Included: Transmission, shifter, or vehicle-specific power taps.
• BRAKE SIGNAL CONVERTER required when retaining the original brake switch, unless suitable brake-signal conversion has been already sorted. SEE HERE

Whilst every effort has been made to provide detailed instructions to make the loom as straightforward as possible to fit, it still relies on a reasonable working knowledge of vehicle electrics in order to find and safely connect to power and ground sources. We have included the fitting instructions below to aid your judgement.

BMW M57 Fuel Pump Loom – Complete Relay Kit

Connect your BMW inline fuel pump during an M57 conversion with this House of Torque loom. Supplied as the complete relay kit for a tidy fuel pump wiring installation.

Included

• 2-metre fuel pump loom with OEM pump connector
• Pre-wired relay block with Durite relay
• Fuse holder

Compatibility & Installation

Designed for BMW inline fuel pumps such as the E53 X5 type. Check your pump connector before ordering.

Can be used with the House of Torque DDE5/6 standalone harness. ECU-controlled pump switching applies to DDE5. For DDE6, House of Torque recommends an ignition-controlled feed because ECU activation may not work. Follow the fitting guide for the correct relay switching arrangement.

M57 Vacuum-to-Electronic Turbo Conversion Loom

Upgrade your vacuum-controlled M57/M57N to a later electronically controlled M57N/M57N2 turbo with this high-quality, plug-and-play conversion loom.

The later M57N2 V-band turbo offers a more efficient, freer-flowing design, with a substantially larger turbine housing, a larger dump-pipe outlet and an improved inlet. This loom provides a straightforward wiring solution for fitting that turbo to your vacuum-controlled M57/M57N engine.

Features

• Plug-and-play connections – Connects directly to the factory harness and compatible electronic turbo actuator, with no cutting or splicing required.
• Secure grounding – Includes the necessary ring terminal for connection to a clean, secure chassis earth.
• High-temperature protection – Protected wiring suited to the engine-bay environment.

Why Upgrade?

• More direct actuator response – Removes reliance on the vacuum-operated turbo-control system and its associated delays.
• Eliminates turbo-control vacuum leaks – Removes the brittle vacuum hoses associated with vacuum actuator operation.
• Reliable operation in demanding conditions – Reduces reliance on vacuum-control components that can cause problems in wet, muddy environments.
• Hybrid-turbo ready – Suitable for compatible hybrid turbo builds using the supported electronic actuator system.

A straightforward loom solution for your vacuum-to-electronic M57 turbo upgrade.
