Key features

• Australian made
• Sealed airbox construction
• Washable dry-flow air filter requiring no filter oil
• Billet-machined MAF sensor holder built to original sizing
• Duckbill drain valve
• Designed to work with factory-style plastic snorkels or the DEFAB snorkel
• 88mm / 3.5-inch airflow path through to the original turbo hose
• 2.5mm powder-coated aluminium construction

Kit includes

• Pre-assembled airbox with filter and CNC-cut / folded mounting brackets
• 3.5-inch flexible intake hose
• Side-entry plastic snorkel adapter

300Tdi applications

The airbox can be adapted to a 300Tdi, but custom intake plumbing is required and is the responsibility of the installer.

Water crossings

A sealed airbox does not automatically make the vehicle safe for deep-water crossings. The complete snorkel and intake system must be installed and checked for leaks before relying on it for water-ingress protection.

Stone's gullwing window creates an easy way to access the cargo area of your Defender!

TWO OPTIONS: FULLY ALUMINIUM & POLYCARBONATE

Polycarbonate is superior to glass in many ways. The composition of polycarbonate creates properties that make it hard to crack, break or chip. It is practically unbreakable—especially when compared to most glass. Even compared to safety glass, polycarbonate is 250 times more resistant to impact! This increases the safety of occupants from burglars, gun shots and hazardous outdoor weather phenomenon, and even the dreaded Yowie!

Polycarbonate windows are very hard to break, which is ideal for use in a accessory window fitted to any 4x4!!

Fits: All Land Rover Defender wagons (Hardtop Gullwings avail on special order)

Note: For Puma installation bottom two small angles have to be ground out.

STOP THE MUD FLYING UP THE DOOR!

This is the FULL Front Mud Shield, Mud Flap Bracket and Mud Flap KIT.

This is a pair (kit includes right hand and left hand sides)

MOUNTING BRACKETS: These mounting brackets are to move your existing standard front mudflap forward and outwards, they will stop all the mud that gets flung up the doors and onto the door handle especially when big wheels and tyres are fitted, the mounting brackets are made out of 3mm galvanized steel and come with all bolts to fit them, they will also fit if you have sill bars, rock sliders fitted as the chassis bracket has 2 mounting positions.

MUD SHIELDS: These outrigger mud shield guards will fit all Defenders, they are to stop all the mud and road salt getting on top of the front outriggers, road salt and mud settles on top of the outrigger and causes them to rot away, even galvanized chassis do suffer after a while, they also make cleaning your Land Rover much easier as the mud can’t get into the outrigger and around the footwell. They are made from a rigid but still flexible 3mm plastic material in black, they are very easy to fit they use the 2 inner wing securing screws to secure them.

MUD FLAPS Mud Flaps also included in this kit

When fitting the mud shield kits we recommend using Moly Grease on all nuts/bolts and on all the steel and galvanized fittings that bolt to alloy as it acts as a barrier to stop corrosion.

Detailed fitting instructions are supplied with the kit

Important: water-ingress protection

Fitting a sealed airbox does not automatically make a vehicle safe for water crossings. Proper installation is essential. Check that the complete airbox and snorkel system is actually sealed after fitting.

FITS: Defender 110 wagon with Square Rear Tub and also the Stepped Tub

Please see product pictures to see which tub you have!

This is a pair (kit includes right hand and left hand sides)

Don’t lose your rear Mudflaps again !!

This kit is to mount your existing rear mudflap to a much stronger mudflap support as the original ones tend to fall off and damage the side of your Defender, the mudflap mount is quick release so if using off road the mudflap can be removed very easily in seconds, the brackets are made out of 3mm galvanized steel and come with all bolts and fixings to fit them, the kit also incorporates a plastic mud shield that fastens to the rear tub to stop all the mud and road salt getting to where you don’t need it, they are made from a rigid but still flexible 3mm plastic material in black, the mud shield also makes cleaning your Land Rover much easier as the mud cant get into places where you don’t want it.

As you can see in the pictures there is a lot of items in this kit and you will have to cut your existing mudflaps to make them fit, it all can be done quite easily.

When fitting our mud shield kits I recommend using Moly Grease on all nuts/bolts and on all the steel and galvanized fittings that bolt to alloy as it acts like a barrier to stop corrosion..

If you are unsure if you have Square or Stepped rear tub this might help...(feel free to also just send us phots to I.D your tub)

Stepped Rear Tub is 2007 on Puma Td4 that have seats in the very back or a 110 utility that has no bulkhead behind the 2nd row of seats, the step was put in by Land Rover for rear forward facing seats.

Square Rear Tub is all 110s from the beginning of production, and up to 2007 Puma Td4s 2007 on mainly all commercial style ones, like crew cab pickups and  single cab pickups and 3 door hard top van style all have square rear tubs.

Dirty Life Dual-Tek DT-1 17x9 Beadlock-Capable Wheel

One wheel, two personalities. The wheel is supplied with the simulated ring for standard road-style use. Functional beadlock operation requires the optional extra beadlock race ring, sold separately, and is for off-road use only.

Dual-Tek technology

• Road-use bead seat: use the standard bead-seat configuration with the supplied simulated ring.
• Optional functional beadlock: functional beadlock ability requires the optional extra beadlock race ring, sold separately, for off-road use only.
• Forged race ring option: optional 6061 aluminium beadlock race ring sold separately.
• High load rating: manufacturer catalogue lists 1542 kg per wheel for the Dual-Tek range.
• 17x9 size: a strong match for larger touring and off-road tyre packages.

Street and off-road use

Dirty Life's Dual-Tek system allows the tyre to be mounted on the standard bead seat with the supplied simulated ring. The wheel does not operate as a functional beadlock in this supplied configuration. To use the wheel as a functional beadlock, the optional extra beadlock race ring must be purchased and fitted; that configuration is intended for off-road use only.

Australian road-use note: D.O.T. terminology used by the manufacturer relates to its US market. Australian legality can depend on wheel fitment, tyre size, vehicle modification rules and state requirements. Check your vehicle's applicable requirements before road use.

Tyre sizing

For an approximately 33-inch overall tyre diameter on the 17-inch wheel, 285/70R17 is a useful starting point at approximately 32.7 inches. Actual clearance depends on vehicle, suspension height, wheel offset, guards and steering clearance.

Before ordering

This is a special-order product. Contact KINGPIN with your vehicle model, current tyre size and required fitment so we can confirm the correct PCD, offset, availability and current lead time before you place the order.

Gwyn Lewis Wading Kit – Defender / Discovery / RRC

This is a very high-quality wading kit, built using the best fittings and components available.
Not to be confused with cheaper alternatives.

Compatible With

• Defender TD5 / Puma 90 & 110

• Defender / Discovery 1 / RRC V8

• Discovery 2 TD5

Kit Overview

This kit includes everything required to properly extend your driveline breathers.
A 5-way manifold is supplied so only one breather pipe needs to run up the snorkel or behind the cab.

The main breather pipe is Polyethylene/Aluminium tubing (with aluminium lining) which can be shaped easily and secured out of harm’s way with P-clips.

Axle fittings supplied suit early-style axles with screw-in fittings.
If you need 90° axle fittings for TD5, Puma, or Disco 2 axles, please see our separate listing. (These are not included in this kit — see note below.)

Installation Summary

1. Mount the 5-way manifold (commonly on the bulkhead).

2. Replace gearbox and transfer box breathers with the supplied 6mm swivel fittings, or extend the OEM pipes using the provided 6mm couplers.

   • Puma TD4: Only the transfer box breather is used (no gearbox breather).

3. Axle breathers can be extended using the supplied 6mm pipe or replaced entirely.

4. Route the main breather pipe up the snorkel or behind the cab.

   • This is the pipe with the aluminium inner layer so it can be shaped neatly.

5. Any unused manifold ports can be plugged using the supplied blanking plugs.

Manifold Port Notes

• The manifold has 3 × 6mm ports and 2 × 8mm ports.

• Defender Puma & Auto gearboxes only require the 3 × 6mm ports.

• Defender TD5 requires the supplied Y-connector to merge the two gearbox breathers into one line before the manifold.
