Superior Engineering Custom-Valved Remote Reservoir Shocks

These shocks are not supplied out of the box and sent straight to you. KINGPIN Fab re-valves and tunes them specifically for Land Rover applications, based on vehicle weight, suspension travel and intended use.

We modify both the shim stack and piston setup where required to achieve the damping characteristics we want for the vehicle.

Price is per pair.

Why KINGPIN custom-valved?

• Vehicle-specific damping rather than generic off-the-shelf valving
• Remote reservoir for increased oil volume and cooling capacity
• 8-stage compression adjustment
• 20mm hard-chromed shaft
• Fully rebuildable and serviceable
• Multiple travel lengths available

Length guide

Lead time and sizing

If the recommended size is in stock, allow approximately one week for the custom re-valve. Lead time may be longer if the required shock size needs to be ordered.

If you are unsure about shock length, send us your vehicle, lift, bumpstop arrangement, current open/closed lengths and intended use before ordering.

Superior Engineering Nitro Gas 40mm shock absorbers are suitable for your long travel Land Rover suspension system - as a cheaper more budget friendly option to the custom valved remote res shocks we also offer.

PRICE IS PER PAIR.

Low pressure Nitrogen Gas prevents cavitation of oil inside the shock when it heats up during use over rough roads; this allows the shocks to work more consistently.

The piston has a Teflon coating allowing it to slide more smoothly and last longer.

Highly polished Chrome shaft ensures long shaft life.

High quality seals are designed to protect against oil leaks and perform very well even in dusty and dirty conditions.

NEED HECTIK FLEX?!

These Offroad Series of the Superior Engineering Superflex Radius Arms are Suitable For Landrover Defender 90/110/130, Discovery (Series 1) and Range Rover (Series 1)

Superflex Radius arms not only correct castor angles after performing a suspension lift, but also utilise standard OE spec Nissan Patrol rubber bushes in the Radius arms.
These features allow for increased articulation and eliminate the need to use expensive Poly aftermarket bushes that are considered inferior to OE style rubber bushes.
The Superior Engineering Radius Arm design will also permit you to run a Superior Engineering Radius arm Spacer washers to push the front diff forward, increasing clearance and achieving a better approach angle.

Superior Engineering SUPERFLEX Radius arms were designed in 2008 for Competition Trucks to benefit from maximum articulation as well as Excellent High-Speed Handling as well.
