KINGPIN Stage Two Front Axle & CV Upgrade Kit

A complete heavy-duty front-end package built around the stronger 23/24-spline combination.

This kit is designed to take the guesswork out of upgrading the weak factory front driveline on Defender, Discovery 1, Range Rover Classic, Perentie and County applications.

Why 23/24 spline?

The axle is 24-spline at the differential end and 23-spline at the CV end. The larger 23-spline CV-end shaft section provides substantially more material than the standard 32-spline CV-end axle arrangement.

For County and Perentie applications, this setup is commonly used when converting from the original 10-spline differential arrangement to a stronger 24-spline front end, particularly when fitting an LSD or locker.

For Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic applications, the kit suits compatible 23-spline CV setups such as Ashcroft or County-style conversions. Some later vehicles require additional conversion parts, so contact KINGPIN if you are unsure about your exact front axle arrangement.
