Fitment
Select the correct mounting arrangement for your vehicle:
- Defender - pin to eye
- Discovery 1 / Range Rover Classic - pin to pin
- Discovery 2 - eye to eye
Important
A steering damper will not repair worn steering or suspension components. If the vehicle has shimmy, wobble or poor steering behaviour, diagnose and repair the underlying cause first. The damper is there to control steering movement, not hide a mechanical fault.
Larger and heavier tyres can increase steering kickback, so an upgraded damper can be worthwhile once the steering system itself is in good condition.
